are you gonna daily drive it or just strip, i regret putting 3:73 gears in my car i daily drive it and the gas mileage sucks now. ill be doing 65 at around 2200 and 80 around 2600 im thinking of switching back to 2:93s and just buying a yank 4000 stall.

If this was my daily driver I would not do it.. mileage does suck..I bracket race the car at least twice a month and have a 3,600 vigilante which likes the 3.73s.

i do mainly freeway driving, so when im constantly doing 65-70 at 2200-2300 i just watch the needle slowly do down, i remember when i had the 2:73 and would cruise around 80 at 1500 RMP, but from a dead stop it feels good and launches hard.

I have 3.73's and a 4000 stall,...not a big fan of how bad it does on gas for sure, not exactly my daily driver, but pretty close. Im strongly thinkin of jumping down to 3.23s or maybe 3.42s...depends on what i come across really. Gotta lower the stall to a 3200 or somethin similar soon as well for the spray.

Geez, you guys complain about nothin. I'm at 3300 RPM at 65 MPH.

TH400 and 4.10 gears. I would love to run 2800 RPM at 70.

4000 stall and 3.73's here. Yes I can remeber the days of 80 mph at 1500 rpm. But I didnt build the car for mpg. I do have a daily if I get tired of spending alot on gas. Sometimes I go weeks driving it. Other times I just drive my 34/37 mpg daily. I did enjoy it when it was just a 3500 and 2.73's. Sometimes I think of just going back to that and a smaller cam... Okay it was just a though NOPE. And at 65 with the 4000 stall and 3.73's I sit at 2200/2300 rpm. Did you have your PCM reset for the 3.73's. I know when I first had the 3.73's I didnt reset it. It will also add miles to the car quickly. It will also change the shift points untuned.
