4l60E car won't move

I put a 05 5.3 motor and 05 trann 4l60e in my '76 nova with a painless harness. Car starts and runs fine. But when i put it in gear it wont move it just sits there and free revs. Check fluid level seems fine every thing is bolted up and pluged in. Just not sure what to do. Does it need a tune or something? Please any help would be great Thanks.

Pull the bottom cooler line off and run it, seeif there is fluid coming out. If you were to unplug all of the elctronics it would still achieve 3rd and reverse.

I suspect your pump has failed due to the converter being improperly installed.

Also want to check all of your connections and make sure all is plugged in correctly. Will it not move in any gear? Does it sound like it goes into gear when you move the shifter or nothing?

I would have to concur likey a broken pump no wires or conestions will keep it from moving at all , Check for fluid flow as suggested. This is a very comon instalation mistake

That is why I asked if it will move in any gear?

it should flow anytime the cars running , You have a broken pump :( You will need to remove the trans and hopefully you havent damaged the converter. Sorry
