has anyone heard of an A4 4l60e shifting 5 times

Default has anyone heard of an A4 4l60e shifting 5 times
a4 4l60e shifting 5 gears either theirs a trick when u get your tranny built to where u dont need a converter and make it shift 5 times ...i dont know any help...

There is no way a 4L60E is shifting five times. You may be feeling the converter lock up and confusing it with another shift.

Yes, it the TC.
It shifts, 2nd, 3rd, TC, 4th, TC.
My car used to lock up in third, unlock, shift to 4th, and lock up.
It's easier on the TCC to unlock during shifts.
