Default Is the 98-02 v-6 auto trans the same?

is the 98-02 v-6 auto trans the same as the ls version? bellhousings should be different but will the trans interchange?

are you talking about the same as one for the ls1? if so they should both be a 4l60e

no, the input shaft is longer. there are some other differences, but you could get adapters. better off finding a used one off an lsx vehicle. some of the trucks came with 4l65es.

You would have to change the bell , input shaft. pump stator, You would be better off just getting and LSX type transmission ,
