Adding vacuum line and still don't shift

I added the vacuum line and I LOST reverse. Went down the street it shifted to 2nd around 3000, when I went WOT in first i bounced off the limiter for 2-3 seconds and it won't shift 3rd.

Did I get screwed on this tranny:mad:

What do you know about this trans, Was it built? is it stock ? Does it have a full manual valve body?

Krazy98Z28 Dec 2, 2007 02:25 PM

From what I know its a stock B&M tranny no valve body...it wont shift manually anyways, I tried.

I traded it for my M6 from a member on this board and i'm told it worked perfectly fine. I checked my tranny fluid and I'm full.

I would talk to him and have him talk to B&M if needed, That would be your best bet,

i'm just gonna take it out and have it rebuilt the right way

Thats fine to but I am just wondering if theres something about it we dont know?

I don't know what it would have to do with losing reverse, but sometimes if you use regular flimsy vacum tube it will collapse and cause shifting problems. I've been burned on that one before. The factory used steel line with a pretty sturdy piece of rubber on each end.
