Gear Shifter Button (Automatic Tranny) Gets Stuck I have posted this thread before (but in the general maintenance section. I tried to search and link here, but search did not work for me).
Problem
Sometimes and very randomly, the button on the gear shifter that has to be pressed gets stuck. It feels as if it is get stuck or hung up on something. I have to like squeeze with both hands to get it depressed. Once I do that, if I let get and press the button again, I have no problems.
I have taken off the center console and gear shifter. Nothing really looks out of whack. Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?
