If you want cheaper than that I'm planning to sell my Fuddle converter just as soon as I figure out how to drain the damn thing.

I strongly suggest not buying a low budget converter. A fresh Yank or a Vig would be a good choice. Vince

X2 You really do get what you pay for. A cheap stall could cost you big money in damages.

+3 you dont want to run a cheap verter dude. read too many horror stories of guys that wasted money on a cheap stall. go with a vig, yank or even a circle D stall.

I have an 11" (278 mm) that stalls 2800-3000. It still uses the full size 12" lock up clutch. It will hold 400 rwhp just fine. It is not going to give you the best performance, but it is a nice bump in stall. Tech price is $350.
The problem with some of the smaller 9.5" budget converters is they use a clutch out of a FWD 150 hp car. It will not last and can take a lot with it when it goes. That is why the higher end converters use a billet front, it allows you to use an oversized clutch to hold the extra power. My 9.5" with billet front and billet piston is $700. Let me know if interested.

A new Billet Yank comes with a 3 year warranty a used one will not.

Also you can not get the debris out of a used converter with out sending it to be cut and cleaned at an extra cost.

Don't cheap out, man. If you can't afford the one you want right now, save up until you can. Otherwise, you'll end up posting again inside of a year about how your stall took a **** and took your tranny with it.

Definitely don't go cheap! I had a Fuddle go bad in my tranny last year and sent metal all through my trans. After that, I got a Vig!
