Precision Industries Vigilante 3600 dumdumdum!
I just replaced my stock converter with a Vig 3600 and its amazing. Very glad I listened to everyone who said to do a converter first and very happy with this one. I was concerned about how it would drive on the street just day to day, but really you'd never know it was there until you get on it. It feels very tight while driving yet flashes where I want it and pulls crazy hard, no more bogging and reduced the dead spot that occurs when you dont get the double downshift going on. If anything I would say it feels calmer for regular driving because you dont get that clunk into gear when you are parked and pull it into reverse or drive. It also has a softer shift for regular driving. I know this is all common knowledge on here but just wanted to add to the reviews so if anyone is trying to decide what to go with I don't think anyone could be unhappy with this unless they just wanted more stall. This is very mild feeling for day to day driving but when you hit WOT its a whole new beast!! Can't wait to get it to the track again.

Absolutely not true, the rated stall is a value of where the RPMs should go when you hit WOT, not just part throttle pulling out of your driveway. For the most part this feels just like stock for regular driving.

I have a 3600 Vig in my 2002 corvette coupe. With an exhaust and few bolt ons it went 12.70 at 110mph it's first night out. 60' was 1.89<--flashed the converter and spun a little. The car is full weight (has every option available) and I weigh 250 so it was movin pretty good in my opinion. The converter is the best mod yet, now I need some gears. 3.15s suck.
