spraying the stock converter i have about 60k miles on my Silverado and still have the stock converter, i have had the trans rebuilt about 6k miles ago with some better parts this time. i sprayed 100 and 150 shot on the stock tranny/converter for a while, probably like 3 bottles in a 3 week period with several 0-100+ runs on the highway, LOTS of abuse. my question is how strong is the stock verter, i've started to notice my trans doing weird **** lately and i think the verter might be my problem. have i fried the thing with the spray?

Re: spraying the stock converter seems like it will hold higher RPMs while on the highway, down low it wont launch the same as it did new, it kinda bogs and then pulls hard. the weirdest part is how it holds the extra RPM though, it seems like it's in a lower gear and then it drops. i thought it might be the verter locking and unlocking. i don't know a bunch about the tranny verter area yet so i wasn't sure. i just had tranny rebuilt and beefed(some) about 6k ago and i've been pretty easy on this tranny but i gave the old one hell. this tranny has had no nitrous through it.
