Im a huge FLT Fan, My level 4 took 185 Mid 11 second passes and 10,000 street miles in a 3700lbs pickup with out any complaints.
When I stepped up my program to search for consistant 10's I went to FLT for somthing stronger. My Level 5 with billet output has now taken over 80 Mid to low low 10 second passes and roughly 6000 street miles without a hint of trouble. This past sunday brought me a 10.22@133.7
Thanks to Chuck and Vince for an exceptional product. Customers to them truely are number 1.

I'm working on it Vince. I've got six weeks left over here. I plan on ordering a Midwest Chassis Fab 9" when I get home. I promise I haven't done any hard launches since you told me to refrain from doing that stuff. I still enjoy the car, but I try to keep from putting any crazy stress on the rear. I'd love to come back to Chicago and visit, but I'd rather it be for fun rather than because I didn't listen to you and broke my tranny!!

Good to hear you took my advise. Besides I think your wife likes it better when your not spending money on the car! I look forward to seeing your car in action in the future. I will be down in December maybe we can try to get together this year providing you don't crash a ATV again this year! Take care. Vince
My buddy got rid of his dirtbikes, so I think I'm safe now . I owe you a meal at McLard's BBQ, so looking forward to it. Let me know when you'll be in the area!

I love my FLT Level 4!!! Its shifts just as well as it did the day I put it in. Bought mine back in Oct. last year and its been flawless, even after I've beat the snot out of the car. 2 sets of Nitto Drags since nov. last year, probably 50 passes on it and around 9k. That's every day driving and many 400 mile round trips back home.
I have horrible luck with automatics, and that's why I went straight to the best, I knew I would have zero trouble out of their product. Thanks again Chuck and Vince for such a kick *** product.

Hey, I know that box
I saw someone at corvetteforum who ran 9.5@144 in 2200+ DA, with your level VI 4L65E. It is only a matter of time before someone starts banging the 8s with your 4L65E trans

Yes, that was John Reese's 427/procharger C5 (bottom right corner of our web page). That car should run in the very low 9's when he steps up his conservative tune-up and the DA comes down here which will be soon. Actually we have another customer with a t/turbo C5 that has gone 9.20's @157mph in the same if not worse DA and should be our first 4L65E that will break into the 8 second range. We just added a trans brake to his 4L65E to help with his 60ft time and should have some new track results very soon! Don't worry will make sure we post up the video if or when it happens.

It's a beautiful thing to see a 2000 C5 Corvette with a 1,000 HP motor bolted up to an FLT 4L60E tranny going round after round at the Drag Strip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last year we "overpowered" the rear end. That problem has been resolved, so this year I have been able to run the Super Chevy Show at 66, The NMCA/NMRA Shootout at 66, The IMSM (Illinois Midwest Street Machine) 9.50 Class "Heads Up" series on a .400 Pro-Tree, and in October I will be in Memphis, Tn. racing at the 2nd annual LSX Shoot Out! All that and driving it to Cruise Nights 4 nights a week all summer long (How many Race cars do THAT?). None of this would be possible without my "Trusty FLT 4L60E Tranny"! If you wanna see what an FLT Tranny can do I'll E-Mail you pictures of my Corvette on the road with Hot Rod Magazine doing Drag Week going 1,800 miles in a week pulling a U-Haul loaded (1,600 lbs) running 9.80's all week!!
Thanks FLT Guys

Thanks for posting up your story JR. I know this is all true as I have personally seen it for myself. You did forget to mention that your car also recently pass Illinois emission tests. Your car is one of my all time favorites and I would not mind seeing some of those photo's. If you have the means to post them here, I'm sure others would not mind seeing them. Thanks again. Vince

We really do not advertise our transmissions with horsepower ratings because of all the different applications that they fit. Personally I feel that rating them is more of a sales pitch and I like to make sure that a customer gets the right unit for their application. Obviously there is a difference in the application, weight, hp, torque, induction, and other variables with the vehicles equipped with these transmissions. Judging by the numbers in your signature I would say a level 4 would probably be a good unit for you. However I always like to talk with the customer to get all the details. Please give us a call if we can be of service to you. Thank you. Vince

Liking my Level 5 so far, made some 10.30 runs with mid 1.4 60's in my stock wieght 2000 Camaro SS. Keep up the good work. How many runs should I put on it before I freshen it?
