Default Level 1 or upgrade stock?

I am going to be starting my project next spring, Im looking at 450rwhp DD that gets occansional track time, would i be better off keeping my stock4L60E with the shift kit and add a stall, a big cooler, flexplate and a deep pan or upgrade to a Level 1 tranny?

I looked into pricing Level 1 Performabuilt with a stall= $2200

Im looking into a Edge Converter $585 plus shipping, TCI flexplate $239.00, B&M cooler $70-90, Deep Pan $60 and the install= $1500
