Rossler TH400 installed
Its his reverse manual TH400, stage 2 package, with the aluminum drum. Its supposed to be about 4.5 lighter than the standard TH400. I also got the option of being able to keep the 2nd gear intermediate band so you have engine braking in 2nd gear. Its normally a $150 option.
Overal, I am happy with the trans so far. One thing that I am a bit worried about, is how HARD the trans downshifts from 3rd to 2nd. Carl told me because of the engine-braking/downshifting option that I wanted, it would be a little violent on the downshift from 3rd to 2nd, and I assumed he ment when I am going fast, like 40mph+. But it does it all the time, even if I am coming to a light, and going 5mph, to shift from 3rd to 2nd, to get it to 1st, it shifts HARD. It sounds and feels like my driveshaft will rip out of the the rear end everytime. It can't be good for the ujoints, rear end, etc.
Now a I am thinking maybe I shouldn't have gotten the option to be able to engine break lol. I figure if I ever need to have the trans freshened up, or if I brake it and send it back to Rossler, I will have him take that engine braking option out. Problem with that is that it may be a while, as all of Rosslers trannys are supposed to be bullet proof.

I had a 3.73 geared 10 bolt in my car for years and after the TH400 was installed I got about 1000 miles on it before it killed the 10 bolt. I then installed a 2.73 geared 10 I had laying around and it killed that one in about 500 miles.
Thats when I put in the Strange 12 bolt. Its solid now.
Congrats on the transmission. You won't have to worry bout breaking the tranny anymore.
