Redline Motorsports - Technician Redline Motorsports is currently seeking a skilled technician who is interested in growing within the high-performance automotive industry. Redline Motorsports’ requires a very high standard of professionalism and expertise from their employees with zero compromise. The company is on the move, and has an aggressive campaign underway, so a passion for this industry is a must. Every facet of the company functions around a solid team effort and everyone’s participation is respected and expected. Candidates seeking employment must:
• Have at least 5 years of experience in the high performance industry specific to GM vehicles such as Corvette, Camaro, CTSV and trucks in a legitimate shop environment
• Have experience with engine operation and engine building methodology
• Have strong diagnostic skills with engine management controls and engine functionality
• Have a solid understanding of vehicle powertrains which includes engines, transmissions and rear differentials
• Be proficient in working with hand tools, air tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Possess an adequate array of well maintained tools to work on today’s modern cars
• Have good people skills and the ability to talk to peers, customers, and media personnel
Redline Motorsports is located on the east coast of Florida in Pompano Beach, which is just 30 minutes south of Palm Beach and 30 minutes north of Miami. Regular job hours are 8 AM EST to 5 PM EST Monday through Friday with occasional racing and show events on the weekends.
As a company built on results and reputation we spend a fair amount of time at the race track testing and validating our work. It’s an awarding place but one that this position includes as a requirement. We are also very active with the media, which can create some fun opportunities to share the skills of this position with the world, for technicians capable of building world class vehicles.
