What kind of job do you want? Mechanical Engineering is too broad to really narrow that down. Also, what's your job experience?
www.woolpert.com - main office is in dayton, and I did some work for them as an intern. not sure if that's what you want to do, but they do hire ME's (more civil than ME, but still have a shot)
If you were in Dallas or Houston I could get you some interviews, but that's a long way from where you are looking.

I also act as part of the interview team, and read resumes for prospective team members. When they cannot define themselves clearly and correctly, it tells me something about their attention to detail, and not in a good way.
kozak, I wish you the very best in your job search.

Gentlemen, as of late I have had many job interviews and several job offers. The reason that I type the way I do in forums such as this and in correspondence to friends is my comfort level. I feel very comfortable with people I have known for some time or in places where the atmosphere is equally tranquil. For the record I would like to say that I am a well versed, technically savvy, and well rounded engineer. To my detractors I only say that being fellow engineers you should know the proper way to both notify, and criticize a fellow professional. As a student I have never placed myself on a pedestal or above any person or task I was given. I hope that this rant shows you both my professionalism and the dedication I have to my profession.
Respectfully yours,
Christopher Kozak

P.S. - Résumé’s available upon request. Thank you.

Sorry to see this thread go backward before going forward - though it seems to have brought out the best from the applicant.
While it is not a general rule to moderate or even contemplate moderating this forum, a comment was deleted as it was not called for. From now on I will check in from time to time, halting any snide or uncalled for comments by those not offering a position or constructive criticism and will lock a thread if it goes too far. This one almost crossed that line.
Future Applicants: many 'guests' do check this forum without comment. It may be best to list in a resume' format with email contact information as it most likely will be taken more seriously. Just an observation and good luck to both those searching for a position and those needing one filled.

Last time I checked I didn't put myself in this magical category that you are in apparently. I may be a student but at least I can talk to other people and engineers with out belittling them at every turn.
