Do these shops have opportunities for college students? Sponsors and other shops,
Do any of these shops like Katech or Wheel to Wheel, etc. have opportunities for college kids like internships? Perhaps in your business department or finance division? I am a business major and have always loved the motor sports industry, and I would love even more if I could fuse those two things together and turn it into my career. Does anyone have any other information that could help a college kid get involved in the motor sports industry? Sorry if you find this to be some what vague...

Lots of places honor internships. A phone call or email might behoove you, and get your foot in the door.I worked at a place my senior year as an intern making minimum wage, but it got me experience as an Aeronautical Engineer. G/L.
