Floormats were a problem though.
The main problem is the general public DOES NOT KNOW how to drive a car, or install floormats. THEY ARE NOT MEANT TO BE STACKED

The floormats weren't the problem. That doesn't mean that stupid people can't **** up things that we thought were un-****-up-able, but paralleling this to the Toyota issue is stirring up **** at best and trolling at worst.

Uhm, toyotas had the same issue as ford. their all weather mats were being stacked and causing the pedal to stick. im not saying its the main cause of the unintended acceleration, but it did cause it in a lot of cars.

Toyota did what they could to fix their issue, and they also warned customers about stacking floormats as it would cause a throttle sticking issue. This just shows its not only toyotas... its any car.
