My life seems to be making a turn for the best...

So I had a sweet security job last year. I had it made, making good money, good hours, I had it all. I didn't even have to wear a uniform I could wear what I want. It was at a outlet mall someone bought and was trying to bring it back to life. Anyhow I had that job for awhile, but I was laid off eventually because the GM could not bring in more businesses so I was laid off because the owner didn't want to keep paying me when there wasn't much going on out there. Shortly after I was laid off, that GM was fired, the owner found out the GM was taking the rent money store owners were paying and pocketing some of it ( around 20k worth is what I heard ). So I had no choice but to sign up for unemployment. Now back in 2009, I was at the wrong place at the wrong time, was dating some girl and I was over at her house hanging out with her and her brother and his girlfriend. Well they were smoking weed and her brothers girlfriend fell to the ground her eyes rolled to the back of her head she wasn't talking or anything. Of course the paramedics were called , and when they showed up the entire sheriff department showed up. Long story short, since they didn't admit who's weed it was, everyone in the house got possession of a controlled substance charge. I went to court, got fined and it put on my record. I guess I got lucky getting the security job, it was my dad's friend who called him because he is good friends with the owner of that mall and offered me the job. Anyhow I haven't had any luck since I was laid off. I've put in applications at so many jobs I can't even count, and had no luck. So I decided to go through some job temp agencies. Again no luck. I went through one, they started me, and 45 minutes later, they pull me off the line and tell me my background check came back and they seen those charges from 2009 and I could no longer work for them, and as for the other temp agencies, it was stupid little assignments for like a week or some crap. So Last week I paid the price, went to court and had my record sealed. Since then I went to the local trade school and signed up for welding classes which start in a couple months, and I got called in for a interview and got a job which I start monday at a company that has great benefits and payed vacations. It isnt the best pay, but its better than nothing at all. The good news is the hours will work great with my school since my school is evening classes. So I figured I'd work at this place intill I finish welding school and find a better job. I am very happy things are starting to look up for me.
