Yeah, the Raptor is now a sales success. I'd say that the butch looks are the main reason for its success, rather than simply its capability (not that it's not capable, but how many people actually off-road them?). In China, driving a Raptor is more "prestigious" than even cars like the Pagani Huayra and the Ferrari 458 Italia, because it's bigger and far more in-your-face.
I wouldn't be surprised if after half a decade or so the Raptor dramaticaly loses popularity and market value, much like the Hummer H2 before it.
