Looks like it will be retaining the squishy greenhouse and it might be packing some Mopar-style hood vents underneath that camo.

Blah......
All the reasons I hate the 5th gen are exemplified with this spy picture. It's still too thick thru the middle, has a tiny greenhouse, and now looks to be shorter than the current gen, which just amplifies the clowncar effect.
I'll pass.
IMO, the revised 2015 Challenger is still the winner among the 3. I'll be looking at begging the wife for the Hellcat, or the Scat Pack Shaker 392. Dodge has the cool factor in spades right now.

So hard to tell anything from the cammo but I was kinda hoping it would be closer to the 2nd gen inspired drawings.
It doesn't look like its gonna happen instead will just be like the magazines said "evolutionary not revolutionary "
Anyway as long as it's lighter than the 5th gen and has the hp to compete with the mustang/challenger I will be interested.

60 years later go STILL can't design something new so they bring back **** from the 60s/70s AGAIN.
enough with the ******* retro. Enough with the HUGE BLOATED FAT *** cars too. Such a ******* shame! GM may as well just say **** it and close it's doors seeing as the only thing they've done right is the corvette. Even the trucks and SUVS look like bloated ugly boxes.

Douchebag On The Tree
I read the Car and Driver article accompanying these pics, and they said, comparing the known wheelbase of the Impala in the picture, they can pretty accurately calculate this Camaro has roughly the same wheelbase as the current ATS coupe and sedan. So it's safe to say it will ride on ATS version of the platform and not the stretched version the CTS rides on. That should pretty much confirm the rumors of a weight drop we have been talking about for a year now.
ATS platform (even if stretched) > shortened large sedan platform

People buy the 5th gen Camaro in droves because it's been an "it" car for going on 5 years. Hell, I bet GM could thank the Transformers movies for selling 100,000 of the ~400,000 5th gens they have sold to date.

GM (and others) have used previous gen body panels when doing test runs for suspension/performance/etc, to hide the final product. They might be doing that yet again for all we know. Or it may look basically the same, just a bit smaller.
We'll just wait and see.
I laugh at those who say the 4th gens will go up in value because of the new Camaro, blah blah... How's that been working out for you over the 5 years? No one says you have to like the new gen, but obviously a ton of people do.
