Camaro leads sales for August, 5th straight month
http://www.torquenews.com/106/camaro...014-title-lead
Anyone surprised?
Surely we'll soon have a link from Cam5, but this article is straight news, so I decided to bring it. Most people expected a slip in Mustang sales this year, since the hype is so high for the 2015 model and I'm among them. I'm actually more interested in sales of the new model and since it will be "global" at that point, I expect a big change. Anyway, for now the Camaro still holds its lead, as it basically has since reintroduction in 2009.
GM sales overall weren't awesome for GM, but it's not like they fell out of the top rung area or anything. Ford picked up slightly and Dodge...
Dodge is the story! 20% increase... it's another story, however.

I would seriously think the new Mustang will sell 2-3000 more units its 1st month or two, over Camaro, even counting only North American sales. Just like when the 2010 Camaro came out, only the other way around.

Oh, you know it's going to do it... Orders are said to be simply astounding. That said, we know it's several thousand... but I don't think Ford is saying how many. They're too busy trying to build the ones for dealers so they can get on with building the customer ordered cars.
