Where do they get this info? Seriously, no one on earth can accurately predict 3 minutes into the future with 100% certainty. But 3 years from now a 2014 Impala "Legend" will cost 40% it's original value?

A couple things about the 2014 Impala, there is no "Legend" version. There is a Classic though. The Classic I could see their estimates being accurate. But if they can't even get the name right, how am I to trust their estimates on everything else?

All I know is any diesel truck sure holds their value. It's crazy how much they ask for 200,000+ mile disel trucks.

And I'm not sure which is stupider and crazier...
the seller asking that much
or
the buyer paying that much

either way it's just ******* unreal.

Yep. I found a nice single cab 12v Cummins (1994) with 229,000 miles and the guy wants $13,500 for ot. It's clean and modded nicely, but not worth that. Maybe $9,000 which is what I'd offer.

That's still barely a $5K truck. The only good part about it is the 12V. The rest of it is still low quality 90's dodge. Some idiot will pay that though.

I'm sure they got their expected resale value from history.
