Jesus, it's like they're not even trying to hide ripping off a 5 year old design;
Not a bad looking car, but I'll still take the Civic in that category every day.

Definitely would choose the Cruze. I doubt there's a single one of those Civic Si's left that hasn't been beaten to within an inch of its life by some 19 year old.

The first gen Cruze definitely looked better and couldn't be easily confused for a honda or toyota, but ultimately my position is similar to this:
At this point in my life I think cars of this size category are out of the picture for me, especially brand new ones.

If you don't have kids, you might as well have a coupe, if you do there's not enough room for them.

That was actually one thing I really liked about the '13 Si sedan I looked at a couple years ago; I'm 6'1", and I was comfortable sitting in the back seat with the driver's seat adjusted for myself. WAY bigger than the Focus.

ive mentioned this before.my mom is on her second cruze and she likes it a lot.
to be honest it does nothing for me but for what they are i think theyre well built. hers have been very reliable and gets outstanding mileage and have been cheap to own.
she swore off domestic vehicles for years but this car won her back so i guess that says something.

I think mine is the last one on the planet. I did take it to the track once and it ran a blistering 15.9 @ 89mph with a 2.6ft 60ft at 6800ft DA. It's a solid car besides the infamous 3rd gear synchro that was replaced under warranty. I can get a hair over 40mpg on the hwy going out to my folk's house 4 hours away though.
