Nice museum piece.

The first production Firebird from 1967, VIN #00001, will go on the Barret Jackson auction block next month in Vegas.

Wonder how much it will go for. The article says definitely 6 figures. Maybe as high as 150?

i would think higher , a nice 69 ta will go for more . this should be in the 500k range right ?

I would think 500k wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. You're getting the first and second Firebird ever made.

I believe that is 1 of 2 that Gas Monkey garage restored. Unless the show is total BS which I would not doubt. They bought Serial number 1 & 2 Firebirds from a guy for 100k and restored both of them.

They also sold them to a collector on that show for big money too...

The pair were purchased for 70K and sold for 650K with the requirement that they had to be properly restored in 60 Days for the Texas Concourse Or they would have to pay a 10K per day penalty.
