Ferrari F430 Takes Shape http://www.autoweek.com/news.cms?newsId=100673 As if we already didn't have a pretty good idea of what the 360 Modenas replacement would look like, we now know a little more about what lies beneath. Now everyone can stop wondering why it's called F430 instead of F420. I thought it would have been pretty obvious that Ferrari would be using a 4.3L V8 if they licensed the F430 moniker (and also because a Ferrari version of the Maser V8 obviously has to be a step above that of Maser spec mills) but apparently there were a few doubters with the advent of the 612 Scaglietti and it's rounded moniker. Oh well. There you go. I'd like to see a lower front profile shot of the car though. Those front vents are still a little iffy. I love the rear and the new headlights look good in these shots. Still not as beautiful as the 355 but a step up from the 360 IMO. |
Damn that car's awesome! I like the rear of it even more than the front. |
Pretty from all angles- great post. |
