Default 2006 Civic Si

A SIGNIFICANT Improvement over the current Si. http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread...=216316&page=4

I guess Honda got the message with US buyers bitching about the fact that Honda decided to apply the Si moniker to a hatch once again with the previous car whereas the fourth gens were coupes. I like the TL/TSXish headlamps and the Accord Coupe/TCish rear tailamps. Not a bad looking car. And for once the US spec Si looks to be on par with the JDM/Euro/Aussie spec Type R as this one will supposedly get a full 200hp rather than the usual 160hp to keep it from infringing on Integra/RSX territory. Me wonders if the 210hp RSX Type-S will finally get the 220hp Type-R motor in a year or two.

I was in high school when the first Civic Si coupes came out, I remember every one wanted one of those things. I also remember them getting stolen left and right

Looks like the typical asian (coupe) car. Personally, not my taste. I'm sure the honda guys will love it though.

The first Civic SI's were hatches in the early/mid 90's.

It's ok Sean. As long as you keep your Camaro, no one will hate you for thinking that.

no your not, everything on that car is designed perfectly, from the spoiler that is border line wing, to the headlights that allow your eye to follow down the side of the car perfectly. to the exhuast outlet.

but it says concept in alot of those pics.

lol. As for the car, unfortunately the phrase which comes to mind is "better looking than the Cobalt."

I think it is fugly..but that is just me.

There have been a lot of rumors of the RSX getting canned due to slow sales...maybe this car will be the replacement?

I'd have to disagree. I don't particularly care for the looks of the Cobalt SS, but I like the Cobalt LS Sport coupe and think it looks a lot better than this Civic, IMO.

nope. I think it looks pretty good too. Some of those well modded Si's that are done tastefully are pretty sick looking little bubbles. in terms of cohesiveness its right on the mark too.

I think the rear looks ricetastic! From what I can see the front looks ok. I think the Cobalt looks a hundred time better.
