405 hp LS6 GTO coming.... 360 hp LS1 at 1st, than 405 hp LS6. From a recent Bob Lutz speech <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: 405 hp LS6 GTO coming.... Sweet! Now if GM would just focus it's efforts on bringing back the Firebird and putting an LS6 in it, that would be really cool.

The key to the GTO will be it's weight, they have to keep the weight down as much as possible so it can still run real well (and stop well) in a straight line as well as enjoy all the attributes that it's great platform/independent suspension will provide.
LS6 GTO....Cadillac CTS V8....Corvette C6....we have some cool rides coming our way soon. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: 405 hp LS6 GTO coming.... Probably because there is no sense in taking a fast car that no one was buying and make it a faster car that no one will buy.
GTO is going to be badass, and it appeals to a large crowd of people.
