Just read in the March 2005 Motortrend that there will be a 2007 Shelby Cobra packing 550 HP with a 5.4 and S/C and they will delete the IRS for a live rear. I suspect it will cost a bit more than the 2004 Cobra but at least one is coming and it sounds like a monster.

OMG do 90% of the members there drive 6 cylinder Mustangs?
back to the lecture at hand...
I'm kind of disappointed in Ford getting chang on us and going with a live rear. I mean WTF? I mean they lay claims that this car will be a threat to the Z06 but with a live rear? That's not to say that a car with a solid rear axle can't turn some bad *** numbers around a track, but seriously, why the downgrade from the SN95 Cobra? I'm willing to bet the current car with its live rear is a better handling car than the IRS Cobras, but still. Oh well, my rant.
