LS1tech is probably the best source for LS1 tech info, save the subsciption cost, and hit the search button for whatever topic you want to know about, chances are (unless it's really off the wall) you'll find pages of info

GMHTP is really the only one that has a lot of late model info.

Chevy High Performance and Pontiac High Performance have some stuff, but it's pretty much a knock off of what's in GMHTP.

i'm pretty much addicted to buying every auto mag there is, save a few bling types like "dub"
my wife thought getting me subscriptions to car craft, phr, chp, popular mechanics and popular science would curb the madness, but i still stop at 7-11 or the local "cruisin' collectables" pretty much everyday on my way to work and see if there is anything new, from low print rat rod mags to "hot rod" to 4x4 stuff....i get bored at work

Hot Rod, Car Craft. Real good deal on subscription rates and you wont get bored reading only about late model csb.

yeah, a bunch of guys complained about cc's ls1 coverage, but if i remember correctly the next month ls1 guys responded, too......i like car craft no matter what........those whiners were talking about "how expensive" it is to work on ls1s, yet they have never even tried it......but they have no problems reading about 6 figure hemi cars?

GMHTP, Truckin, Hot Rod, Motor Trend, and National Dragster for me. I subscribe to all of them. Occassionally I'll pick up Pontiac Enthusiast at Barnes & Noble if it's got ls1 'birds in it.

I used to read Pontiac HP, but got tired of reading the "it's not a Pontiac unless it's powered by a Pontiac" letters. They started coming back out of the woodwork when the new GTO started seeing print.

I was in the same boat you were, but I was into the minitruckin' scene heavily for almost 10 years. First car was actually an f-body, since it was totalled back in 1995 I've always wanted another one until 4 months ago when I bought my 02'. Anyhow onto your question, GM High Tech or Popular Hot Rodding (when they have late model stuff) is my choice. Wish there were more, but LS1tech is always the best source for 411.
