In, what I feel to be rather tastesless gloating over Ferrari's only victory this year. Ferrari has made a statement on their website praising Bridgestone and abmonishing the other teams for bowing out of competition due to fears of being turned into a 200mph smear on turn 13 of the Indy motor speedway. Tall words from a company plagued by their own tire troubles this year....and actually said Bridgestone was their problem just last month. Ferrari was the only team out of ten to vote against adding a Chicane to turn 13 to make a safe race for all, this included votes from two other Bridgestone teams that voted for the Chicane. In other news, Ferrari was the only team to receive a $100M bonus from the FIA to not join the GPWC.
