Nothing like posting up details.

You can go 0-100mph in 1.67 for a hell of a lot less than that!

Sorry, but I find this comment pretty funny. So what are we talking
here...30 year old technology or what?

I didn't see anything on the website saying it's RWD or AWD. If it's RWD, I'm
calling on the 0-60mph in 1.67s. No way they're hooking up 900rwhp
on tires other than a 28"+ slick.

Someone email them and tell them that the steering wheel is on the wrong
side.

Oh...and that's a badass car.

I love the seats in it. And I was wondering the same thing earlier how the hell they're putting that power to the ground. I think that 0-60 time might be estimated just based on the power level, ignoring traction limitations.

Is it me or does it have more than a passing resemblance to the Saleen S7?
It is a British car and as such it will be at the London motor show this weekend, so if I find out more I'll let you know.
As far as the 0-60, it isn't that inplausable is it? when not long ago a 0-60 in 2.5 seconds would be called impossible, besides I think the Guiness book of records may be involved in measuring that claim, so we'll see.( maybe Topgear will try it)

It looks like a cross between a Mosler and a S7, the front fenders are just a bunch higher and the back end is pretty unique.

Scroll to the bottom and look at the bottom left picture...

Damn! you beat me to it, i was just gonna post about this car!
It's built here in Manchester where i live, but i'm a bit sceptical about the figures, i know it's a chevy V8 the guy that built it was being interveiwed in a paper here & said most of the parts were sourced from the US! which would make this car mostly American not Italian apert from the chasis which is supplied by the same company that supplys lambourgini & ferrari
But there were no test figures just claims & estimates & if it weighed anything like a vette i'd have thought it would need more than 1200hp to reach those speeds

Looks like an S7/Pagani to me. The rear end looks so resemblant of a Zonda....

I was thinking SBC/Banks TT as well when I saw the pics.

Cool, but not my cup of tea. I laughed for a bit when I read that "Space Age Materials" BS. So funny...

Lingenfelter had a TT 427 Vette that went 0-60 in 1.97 seconds on drag radials or slicks, don't remember which. That was with the 1000 horse package that passed California smog! It went on to run a 8.6X at over 150. It was in a Corvette Fever article.

I remember that car, it was an auto on N2O makin around 1200hp when it ran the 8.6 there was a TT nitrous 1200hp viper also running similar times which makes the TKR figures a bit far fetched especially with the claimed 270mph Top speed

The one I am talking about was a M6 with no nitrous....they actually had to launch in 2nd gear to get those times. It was rated at 1000 bhp but was putting down right around that at the wheels. I'll try to find the article.

I don't know how to paste links so this is the best I can do. Mickey Thompson ET streets, roughly 20#'s boost, 1100 horsepower, 0-60 1.97, 1/4 mile at 8.9 @ 154. Badass Vette. It didn't mention the launching in 2nd so that may have been another Vette I read about at one point in time.

I really like the air scoop/license plate holder!!

I would wager they used a computer simulation to get that number. Many companies do this. On street tires, that thing won't clip under 2 seconds on this planet.

Cool looking car, but for a quarter of the price, I'd build an Ultima or FFM GTR.

And then there's this....another 427 TT Vette with an auto tranny on slicks running 8.4X, 22#'s of boost and north of 1000 hp. How would you like to drive this everyday
I know it may not be relevant to the original thread, but I had to share. The 8.4 run is at the end of the video.
