Saw the production EVO X today.
Still had the new badges and emblems all taped over but the interior is nice as hell. The leather recaros look sweet too. It has more air inlets than the last too. 2 heat outlets and 1 mini SS air inlet on the hood alone. The front fenders have brake vents at the rear. The front bumper is riddles w/ them. Overall it does not look bad though.
Hope it is as fast as the last one. Or the fan boys are gonna be mad.

I saw one this weekend in DC. I was washing my car at a Shell station and looked up and there it was. I did a dbl take because I did not think they were out yet. It was a black Evo X. I really do think the old ones really look better!!!

Ditch the hood and spoiler to start, but it looks decent. The side looks good, but it looks weird because it is low in back/high in the front, maybe the trunk is loaded or something.

Yup as stated it will be slower in a straight line, but comes with a new gizmo for the awd system. Oh and they look like an automatic, but it has paddle shifters and it is a dual clutch trans like the bugatti.

Is it just me (or an "optical illusion"), or do the wheel/tire diameters look waaayyyy too small for that side body view?? And I agree, even with all of the "boy racer"/ricer **** on the 9s/older ones, they looked 1000x better. But, they still did not destroy it's looks as horribly as Scoobie Doo did to the new WRX/STI!!

I like the look of the EVO X, a lot more subtle, more understated than the VIII and IX, which looked ridiculous and silly to me. Take off that giant wing in the back, I'd probably consider one for a DD/ snow car.
I know that magazines like R&T arent worth too much, but you get two Manual options in the new X, depending on the model you buy. There's a 5-speed manual and the 6-speed of wonderfulness. The 5-speed is supposed to be limited to 6k rpm in 1st gear so you dont destroy it.

this **** box is gonna be a turd compared to the 8's ad 9's. Its going to be a tuners nightmare. the turbo is in the back of the motor, like the srt's. i believe its an all aluminum block also. They should have just kept the 4g63 in it. It looks like a tank too.

Usually something gets better looking as I look at it....but this car started out with me feeling warm and fuzzy for it because of the former variants. However, it is and keeps looking uglier to me!!!
