Toyota(Nascar) get caught cheating

Judging by the way that Kyle Busch, practically still a rookie, has been dominating against seasoned veterans all in supposedly evenly matched cars I would say that there is probably far more cheating than just that going on in the JGR/Toyota camp...they've just been extra smart and crafty at hiding it.

This was in the Nationwide series though. I dont think it applys to the Cup cars. Either way Toyota sould not have been originally penalized for building such a badass motor under Nascar's parameters. The other camps bitched so they took power away from toyota instead of making the other guys catch up power wise.
No one was complaining when Toyota first broke into Nascar and was seriously down on power as they were basically using the Truck series motors. The shoe is on the other foot now though.

He knew what would eventually happen in NASCAR if they let TOY in at all.
There is NO WAY to fight all of those trillion$$$ of Camrybucks profits TOY has at their disposal for R&D, to 'buy' successful teams (JGR, etc.) and unify/share tech and info between the Nippon Giant's teams.
Just as Japan, Inc. does in the pedestrian, appliance automotive world.

Yes we were.
They'd already turned Craftsman Truck into a 'Spec Series' at that point and many knew that it was only a matter of time. I thought it would take them until the 3rd Sprint Cup season but they somehow managed to do it by the 2nd one, wanna take guesses at how many Sprint wins Toyota will score in 2009?
Fat wallet racing at it's finest.

In a typical spec series all the cars (or at least motors) are the same brand (the older Formula Ford, Saab and Mazda spec series' come to mind) so the winning car is always from the same manufacturer.
If it's a Toyota truck winning nearly EVERY race as it appears to have been then it gives one the feeling of a Toyota spec series.

Sorry to play the village idiot tonight but how do the magnets interrupt the numbers?
Are they saying it is stoping them from hitting the pedal to WOT on the dyno? [physically limiting the pedal travel from a mechanical perspective]
