once I get mine I will actually never sell it... I think that I am getting such a great deal that I would be stupid to sell once i get it. Besides! think of all the upgrades that will come out over the next 10 years. A perfect example is the old audi s4's w/ the 2.7L tt's! Audi came out with that shitty 2004 thru 2007-08 N/A 4.2L crap that would cost MORE then the car to upgrade!! Like $25,000 think I even seen it up to 45,000 to upgrade that hunk of junk while the pre 2004's are fast as hell and cheap cheap cheap to upgrade!!! I hope the same thing will happen with the pre 2009 CTS-V's... I also wonder it the drop in price has something to do with the bailout that GM needs?? not sure and really never thought about it!

Default additional information regarding sts turbo kit for cts-v

hey guys, name is Michael... first time posting ....
just had couple questions regarding the sts kit on the cts-v.

interested in purchasing the cts-v twin turbo kit, but would like to know what all is included due to the fact 9k-10k is a lot of money to spend for not knowing specs /names /size / etc /etc....

injectors... if so what pound
upgraded fuel rails or no
boost a pump or just a bigger fuel pump or both
names of turbo and size
intercooler and the spec of that
the plumbing (what type of piping / size of the tubing / pre-bent or not/ weld or bolt on)
mass air (if so what size) or just stock
any need for upgrading oil pump and or water pump
pcm tune ( car is still under warranty would like a system that would keep my stock tune in addition to sts turbo tune so i can switch in and out if needed)

If there's anything else that im forgetting, that is a common upgrade for forced inductions please fill in

however, that is the sexiest thing I have ever seen.

I suppose you could put a small dual inlet / dual outlet muffler where the resonator would be about your only option... maybe longtube glasspacks...
a turbo is an exhaust restricter and my be seen as a muffler in some states i believe thats why it is legal.

I happened to be on the STS site today and happened to see this. I didn't know if anyone else had seen it yet so here it is. What is a safe PSI # on a stock motor because I would have to bump the PSI up enough to break 500hp to the ground.

8 is about the limit from what I've seen. Then again race gas and low timing and I'm sure you could turn the wick up a little more.

okay, i didnt read every post here but here i go....

where is the maf located?

the system is way cleaner than the first stuff sts came out with on their first kits. i do however think that the price is a bit high for the kit since it uses pretty cheap stuff. i would understand if it had higher quality pieces like t-bolt clamps n-such....you would still make a butt load of money even if you didnt skimp on the small stuff....
