Default 2009 cts-v BONE STOCK 12.0 @ 118 mph

went to the track today and i have to say i am pretty impressed with this car.
i had only 3 passes

first pass 12.20 @ 117 mph

second pass 12.08 @ 118

third pass 12.17 @ 118

this is with stock tires...if i had drag radials i would have been able to launch alot harder and wouldve been able to hit 11.8s easy..

this car is hard to get out of the hole with all that tq.

one thing that impressed me is that the weather was very warm between 75-80 today...i thought the hot weather was going to hurt me...if it was 50 degrees today it wouldve definatly ran 11.9s!!! not bad for a heavy car !

Awsome. Some 1.7xx will get you to the 11.70 range in the same weather.
Like you said, get some 50 degree weather and some dr's and 11.55 would be doable.

Congrats on the new ride, Brent.
Between your driving and Atco's DA, I'm sure you'll have the V record soon.

A bunch of the Corvette Forum guys are renting Atco on 4/29.
You should put some drag radials on the V at the rental,
or at least stop by with the Caddy.

Any pics of the new V?
What cars you have in your stable these days?

Very impressive. StabiliTrack off I would assume (TC off, YC completely off))? Also, did you bother fiddling with sport suspension mode? I read somewhere that upon hard launch, rear rebound and front compression dampening are increased to maintain weight shift for awhile.

^ hey brent if you ever decide to stick with stock size tires go with the nitto invo's - i put those on my black chrome oem wheels. They stick alot better than oem, they dont corner as well but nothing some additional psi doesnt fix.
