Cags

StealthV doesn't sell them anymore, I see on the FAQ where you can make your own with part numbers (Conduct tite and Belknap brands). I think these were probably relavent in 2004/5. I am NOT paying 40$, including shipping, to get one of these. Anyone made there own one in the last year?

On a good note, I got new buttons / Knobs for the Radio...100% better!

There was a guy on the other forum selling them for something like $13 shipped. I'll look for mine when I get home tonight and if I can find it ill let you have it for the cost of shipping.

Type911 makes them. He hasn't been on here in a while though.

Thanks SkullV, Let me know it would make my day! Do you not need yours anymore? Is it the one with connectors for both sides?

I actually had one of each. I have my CAGS tuned out so I don't need it anymore. You may want to consider a Wait4Me tune for $160 and you get to keep your stock PCM. Jesse tunes out the CAGS and will get you a nice power boost too!

I am forcing myself to stay as close to stock with this. I know what happens once you start modding. My weekend warrior car get's 9 MPG, and dynoed 377HP / 392TQ.

What I'm doing to the car (in order)
CAGS
Spare Tire! :bang:
UUC Trans/Engine Mounts (I'm Diesling) :bang::bang:
UUC or Katech Shifter
B&M Pinion Support

Whats been done, before I bought it
Corsa Exhaust
K&N Intake
5" Screens in the headrests

Move the shifter to number one and do it and the cags at the same time.

Hey,

I got one from ebay Adaptive Performance is the company. It is still in the envelope it came in. My wife misplaced the first one I got so I had to order another one. The day it got here we found the old one.

If you want it you can have it. It was sent in the mail for $1.50 so I think I can send it to ya forget about the $1.50

This one does have both connectors with a piece of loom over the wires.

Let me know

i got mine off ebay for 12 bucks... its a plug in delphi one... gm parts for a gm car....

TheBlurLS1 05-28-2009 03:14 AM

Back in the day, I just stuck a resistor with the ends bent over into the plug on my Camaro then taped it in place. It's long since been turned off VIA HPTuners, but it's still in there lol.

If you have the car tuned, you change the CAGS to only come on between something like 250 and 251mph. That way the light will not even come on anymore. My CAGS solenoid is still plugged in just like normal on the V and it has not come on since I tuned it, light or the solenoid. :)
