most nerve racking drive i ever had was bringing my first home from the hospital, it was amazing all the bumps and dips in the road that i took for granted... along with idiot drivers

It was definitely a long drove home. I have never driven the streets of Tampa as slow as I did today bringing him home. He was born at St. Josephs Women's hospital on MLK.

Congrats man. I sold my 26K mile 03 Cobra for a V due to my soon to be 7 month old son. I remember that ride home from the hopsital. I was even yielding through green lights pumping the brakes.

TriGuy 03-12-2010 07:13 AM

Congrats! I laugh at all the comments...only because I know exactly how it is. i may have a 4 door car but can only take two friends cruising with me. Behind the front passenger seat is a base for the car carrier for my 2 month old daughter. Behind the driver seat is a booster car seat for my 3.5 year old daughter.

I used to drive like a bat out of hell. Had kids and slowed way down, still have the occasional fun but definetly not what it used to. Now you think you really have slowed down....if you have never had a motorcycle get one and then see how your car driving habits change.....

L82gofast 03-12-2010 07:42 AM

That's awesome! Congrats! I remember those days.....

This same type of mod you got 2 days ago gave me an extra 1000,000,000 hp! I got back to the hospital in about a minute! I was about 3 or 4 miles away! Haha he is 7 months old now...

That had me laughing out load. :-)

Yep..... remember that day well! The second one was a little (a little) easier, and the third was kind of a - "here we are doing it again" :-D

CONGRATULATIONS!! Nothing cooler than that baby, in that car!

PS... redline/ tan are my colors also. :-)

Congrats! We have 3 kids now (our oldest turning 12 today) and all their births were special. But I must admit, nothing was like the first born and holding that baby for the first time and realizing my whole life had changed. To this day, it was the best day of my life.

Slithering_Joe 03-21-2010 06:49 PM

Best mod I ever made!

Coming home from the hospital in the V.

NeverSatisfied02 03-21-2010 07:39 PM

Aww... now i need this mod... lol

Congrats guys!

SimplistikTA 03-21-2010 11:46 PM

Haha our kids ride in style! I'll have to get the pics up of my little one behind the wheel. I even have one of him with one hand on the wheel and on on the shifter. He's getting it already at 10 months old! Makes me proud. He loves riding in the V so much more than the wife's Sable. I guess he likes all the revving and the Magnaflows.
