Default Broke one of the Strut Tower Bolts....

While doing my cam swap this weekend I broke one of the Strut Tower bolts. I realize this is part of the overall strut assembly, so what is the impact to this being broken? I am hoping to take the car on a road trip later this week (600 miles round trip), but don't want to cause any additional damage. ANy insight is appreciated.

Timing is the issue....have to have it drilled out, and replaced and don't really have the time to get it done before I leave.

It won't hurt anything to drive it like that. I know it's hard because I hate driving my car with something f'd up but it will be fine

Wow howd you break thouse huge bolts? I have had mine off countless times without a porblem. With the right drill bit i cant see it being more then a 10 minute job.

+1 I just installed my headers today and was thinking of this thread. I can't imagine they could even be that tight the bolt is mammoth. You right about the 10 minutes you couldn't ask for a better location to have to drill out a broken bolt. Straight on top of it for pressure and plenty of room to work!
