You better have some stout mods to pull on 500 less lbs or that guy missed a gear.

upload to youtube and post the link. takes about 2 minutes. i can see you staying close but not pulling a car and a half up top. but on the street you never know. id assume your car is 116-118mph and a bone stock c5 z will do the same.

He has an easy 100+ rwhp on him and no wheel hop issues from a roll, I can totally see it. this is assuming the Z was stock though.

yes but what your not taking into account is the fact that a cts-v "makes up" more of them 116-118 range during the 2nd half of the run....ie from an 1/8 of a mile -> the 1/4 mile the OP's V is running faster than a c5 z06 from the 1/8 -> 1/4 if the c5 z06 is also trapping 116-118....

reasons being: z06 is lighter, and easier to launch and keep the 1->2 shift steady....cts-v (esp a maggie V)....not so much

thats my 2 cents.

From a dig...this V would of had to play catch up. and Id expect a fairly even race by the 1/4 mile....obv depending on drivers skills.

NICE KILL.

I do not think I could catch him from a dead stop in the 1/4.

Thanks for the nice words! Yes that CEL is a random misfire. I think its the exhaust bumping the cross member and the puter picks it up as a random misfire.

It's "only" a 600lb difference but it could also be more than 100rwhp, i'm assuming the Vette is stock and puts down 340ish to the rear. I'm sure the V puts down close to 500 depending on boost level and how well set up the car is.

OP put down 49xrwhp so i was off with my assumption.

On another note c5z curb weight=3118......V curb weight 3850= 700+lb difference. but that all doesnt matter, the Op pulled the vette no doubt.
