Whats my V worth? Hey guys i would like to sell my V( looking to pick up a c6z) but really have no idea what my car is worth and was looking to get some in sight from fellow forum members. My car is an 05 with currently 62k on it. I have a non gm warranty that is good til 89k or november 2012 that has already replaced the rear end and is fully transferable. New tires about 8k ago, atleast 50% thread left in them.
current mods include:
custom cam with springs retainers push rods etc.
ported oil pump
h.o. water pump
25% underdrive pulley
K&n intake kit
kooks 1 7/8 headers with no cats
corsa exhaust with custom x pipe
stage 3 monster clutch with 18lb flywheel
b&m short throw shifter
g-force anti hop axles.
It put down 440whp and 385wtq

Great looking car, makes me wish I bought a V in any color but silver, LOL. As with almost all modded cars if you want to get the best money you need to de-mod it and sell it as stock. I've also noticed generally a non forum member will pay more than someone on tech who knows what the car is worth, so list it on craigslist, auto trader, etc.
I would pull all your parts and try to sell them at 1/2 the price of new, then try to get 18k-19k for the car, list your asking price accordingly.
Just guessing, but you do have some big ticket mods on the car that you will be able to sell quickly for good money, and all in all they should bring about 3000-3500. Selling the car plus parts puts you at 21,000 to 22,500.
Selling it modded as is, I agree with itsslow, 20k-21k. Demodding will be a lot of work for just a little extra money, but if you enjoy wrenching on your car it might be worth it.

Thanks for the insight guys, thats what i was guessing the car was worth. The car is for sale and is located about an hour west of chicago. 21k obo.
