Muffler delete, cut off the mufflers, weld on tips and be done with it.

Cut the resonator too and either throw an x in there or true dual it. That will make it fairly loud and you'll still have ur cats to pass inspection. It's not ridiculous loud but it sounds good. I have the x in place of the resonator and a muffler delete on mine.

The cats actually do a pretty good job of keeping the rasp and drone down. It doesnt sound bad at all and its a little louder.

And i missed that as well because he said 07 V...

I have a LS2 and I heard the muffler delete on youtube and it sounds pretty good. Are there any drawbacks from doing this?

None at all. No performance to be lost or gained with the mod. Its been dyno proven. Just added volume. Cant beat it IMO. Its cheap and sounds good!

Tommorow I will be cutting the mufflers and the resonator. I won't need any type of tuning from cutting the resonator will I? I cant wait to hear how it sounds!

To be honest, id start with just the mufflers and drive it for a little while. Then go to the resonator if you want more.

Mufflers alone will sound good but not loud enough IMO. Maybe the X in mine makes the difference because mine is loud and sounds great!

Well its done. Its is loud and raspy. I like it. I have been messing with everyone at trafic lights. They can't believe that a Caddy could sound like that. Thanks fellas!
