Default Clutch slave Bad?

I have an 04 V. how would i know when my clutch slave is going bad? current problems... When i bought it the fluid was empty so i filled it and pumped the clutch trying to cycle fluid and suck out and repreat till it all looks new. well pumping the clutch the fluid in the master cylinder never moves. drove it for 100 miles and fluid never changed color and looked like the fluid i put in originaly. when i do high RPM shifts it seems to grind in all gears. and even normal shifts it grinds into 2nd and 5th unless i give it a second and slow shift. planning on getting LS7 clutch from lindsay SOON which comes with new slave. just want to make sure the tranny is not the grinding issue.
thanks

if your already doing the swap it wouldnt hurt to do a slave too. If your over 50k miles its not a bad idea.

Technically your supposed to replace it everytime you remove the trans... but who does that.

The slave comes with the kit he bought. Get a remote bleeder and install it onto your new slave. You will not regret spending the $150ish. Also pick up a new pilot bearing, rear main seal and rear trans seal while your at it. All of those parts are under $25 each and simple to replace while the trans and clutch are removed.
