Whoa! Looks good. Nice wheels, too.

You know, that front-mounted Caddy emblem looks darn good on your car! I like it!

Why would you bother washing a V1 when you could just go out and buy a V2.

Looks killer.

Shiny!

Last Thursday/Friday the temps shot up into the 60's/70's, so mine got the once-over. Even took the time to clean up some light scratches that somehow seem to just 'appear' during winter. The car was as clean as yours.

Today it snowed. Tonight it's supposed to snow a little more. My car is once again, all phucked up.

How about "you missed a spot"

Car looks good, but dammit if I had to try and keep a black car clean!

The acc wheels look polished; is that the way they come and if so, are they clearcoated? Couldn't imagine trying to keep them polished if not, yikes.

it has been awesome down here the last few days...sunny and 70s to 80s (almost got to 90 one day) everyday. this after we got 6 inches of snow on the 1st and another round on the 10th. but give me 3 days of being in the dirt bowl know as West Texas, and it will have a nice brown tint again.

GM Accessory Wheels are polished, and dont have a clear coat i believe. and it is a HUGE pain to keep them clean. takes 1 day for them to be off brown from the brake dust and road grime.

I didn't wash mine last Thursday when it was warm, and I'm glad I didn't. I drove up to CT that evening, and all the piles of snow were melting, so the effort would've been wasted within a matter of hours. And today I drove it back down to the DC area, passing through the winter weather in CT, NY and northern NJ along the way, so it's even more of a lost cause...

It's supposed to be "wintry mix"ing all night, so it's going to stay looking like that for at least a couple days.

I agree. I'm surprised how many people on the forums don't like them - I think they look great, just as nice as the stock wheels.

They're definitely clear coated, otherwise you'd be out there with metal polish every week to clean all the oxidation off the bare aluminum.

Whenever in doubt, take some metal polish and lightly rub the surface with it on a white rag...if that rag turns black, then you know it's bare; clearcoat will not turn it black, fwiw. It'll be pretty obvious...

Also, whether it's bare aluminum or clear, adding wax will help the finish last (bare alum.) or keep the clear in good shape.

But, yeah, if it's unprotected alum., it will oxidize (dull) rather quickly, for sure.

lmao...Along with these pics('91 Syclone, '04 SRT Ram, '06 Viper), I've also had a Black '93 Cobra, '94 Black Lightning, '99 Black Lightning.

My lesson has long-since been learned!

If it wasn't for the super low miles my V had when I found it, I would've continued to shop for a Silver one.
