I did have it painted satin black, it's just not done right. i googled and researched before i made my decision. PPG makes a low gloss clearcoat for satin finishes so its satin but still protected unlike doing a single stage paint. the guy put 4 coats of this on my car, which is too many, trying to even it out. With the clear coat you can wash and wax just like normal ,however you don't want it buffed or rubbed, because it will start to shine back up. Not supposed to wet sand either. Take it to someone who is familiar with satin and flat finishes, and u should be fine.

Yeah... I'd have to see it and like it before i did it myself. I'd hate to shell out the cash and then not like it.
I saw a satin black V2 on ebay awhile back and it looked amazing!

That looks awesome man! I've always liked ghost flames and they looks great with the styling of the camaro but I'm unsure if they would look right on the V...

zr1 jetstream blue.. a white greyish custom job with rivits.. flat black i know i have more but i cant find um now..
Now that i think about it if i were you i would just stay with raven, Flat and Satin look evil but i would prob get tired of it.. bottom line PLATINUM looks better in all lighting conditions.haha
commmon just color change it => THUNDER GREY

That blue is a little bright for my taste. lol The white is kinda cool but the rivets aren't my taste either. Of course i like the flat black but im with you... i dont know if its something id get tired of or not...
Decisions decisions... lol
Thunder grey is sexy but i think i like black better. I prob only dig thunder grey because my car is black and its different.

satin black on a non exotic car always looked like someone ran out of money and couldnt finish the paint job to me. Very few cars can pull it off. I would do gloss again or even thunder grey would be fine cause you can keep the black door jams and itd still look great and damn near factory.

I saw a satin grey metallic in Scottsdale last winter. It was bada$$, but it was on a Mercedes... I'm thinking "go big or go home". Bass boat metal flake with satin top coat. Do it or I will...

It'sslow... I know what u mean. I felt that way too but I think it looks good on a V when done right. Thunder grey is definitely an option but I know know how well my black wheels and lights will match it?
Jenks... I have no clue what that would look like. Lol sounds cool though
