What year? Coupe? Wagon?

those are the weights of the 04-07 models.. the new sedan is 4300, the wagon i think was 4450, and the coupe is around the same 4300 i believe.

swap

has anyone done a v6 to v8 swap on a cts? A 5sp cts is less then 10k, l have a very low mileage 5.3. lt sounds tempting.

The thing is, you can buy an '04 V for like $14k. So if you spend even close to $4k on various fab, tuning, engine, and other miscellaneous parts, it's hardly worth it. Plus you wouldn't have the brakes, suspension, wheels, etc.

The V2 coupe is 30-50 lbs lighter than the sedan, and a whole lot sexier.
