I would send Patrick G an email as he will provide you with exactly what you are looking for. If I had to pick a cam for an LS6 CTS V with the stock LS6 heads, I would do something like a 224/230 on a tight LSA to make good low end and mid-range power yet still pull well at 6500, maximizing the DCR will help under the curve power. Keep in mind this car is almost 4000lbs so a big cam isn't too smart if you are looking for optimal acceleration.

Call EPS and order a 226/234 112lsa cam. If you wanna step it up get the 230/238.

I personally like big cams but depending on your goal, a big cam isn't always the best cam. These cars are heavy so something that pulls from lower in the rpm range is beneficial. I was looking at the MS4 but it would have been horrible in this car.

I got an MS3 in my V with bolt ons, and it goes 12.1@118 in the quarter all motor. Big *** cam works well in a V, and its 3.73 gearing. A good tune is key to great drivability.

Its loud. Sounds vicious at idle and sick at WOT. Cruising around its loud but sounds good. It has a little rasp in that 1800-2100 rpm range but not bad enough to really bother me. The OBX resonators clean it up a compared to straight up no cats and no muffs like i had on my black car for a short while. Plans are to add a Mag catback soon and then just buy some electric cutouts. Best of both worlds but it sounds bad *** as it is. Just feel bad for my neighbors when im coming in at 2am with my loud *** car cammin its *** off lol

Was that mph pulled at Sacramento dragway or soemthing like that?, cause thats like 4-5mph high. The guy Frick on here claimed 112 stock and they found out recently the track was calibrated wrong.

I run my car at Firebird raceway in phoenix, which is an NHRA certified dragstrip. It traps 116-118 consistently. The car runs very strong all motor. I do all my work on my car, from mechanical to its tuning too. So I always make sure I get the most performance out of it. I also never lift the gas pedal when I shift at wot, which really helps keep momentum in these heavy cars.
