Would that make it flush with the inner lip (the hub flange) around the axle stub?

Glad some of you guys have received yours and have shared pictures. Sad to hear about the rear axle stub.

In for more pics, and congrats again for being the first few.

I would tend to agree. I'm somewhat surprised they don't have different center caps that have a bit of an offset to them - that would seem to be the simplest fix. That's how the center caps are on the Linea Corse Venetos (not sure about the other LC wheels). I don't have a good picture, but the center caps bump out maybe 3/8" or 1/2" to allow them to clear the axle stubs.

The CTS-V market is pretty damn small, so I'm guessing the center disk section of the wheel is shared with other designs (with the bolt pattern and center bore changed, of course), and thus isn't specifically designed for the V.

Yeah, GM should've foreseen that companies would be incapable of designing wheels 8 years after the V hit the road.

Just got a message from Forgestar engineering:

Ryan,
We just saw that the rear of the Deep Concave F14 is not clearing the factory lug bolt. We have been actual working on a brand new forgestar centercap for american cars with the axle bolts that stick out in the rear. I am not sure why GM does not make the axle bolt shorter but we realize the issue and will have a solution for it. If CTS-V customers do not want to cut their stock axle we will have a solution available in about 8 weeks and supply our new centercap.
What do you think? Does this sound acceptable?

That's a long time, but a better solution IMHO.

To me the jury is still out until I see these in black on a black V. They are nice, but I don't know if they are nice enough.

Obviously my opinion, but despite the issues we've had I'd have to say that these are the nicest aftermarket wheels for this car so far. No offense to you others with aftermarket wheels. Unless you want to drop HRE, iForged or ADV.1 coin, these are the way to go. There's a reason we've seen a large number of painted/powdercoated OEM wheels.

They will. The ETA on my Piano Black F14 order is still a couple of weeks out, though, so you'll probably have to wait a little while for pictures.

That was an educated guess entirely based off of the pictures I've seen.

I second this. Until I see some black ones on a non lowered car, I am going to hold on to the change.

As far as I know, I'm the only one that ordered black wheels. Since my car is red, I might try to pull the color out of my photographs to approximate black, but it still might look a little grey.

I hope for my sake that you're wrong and I love them. If I don't like the color, I'll have to try to bribe them to make me a set in satin black.

Got an email today from Peter that said the website order status is wrong for everyone waiting on piano black and seeing a 4 week delivery time frame. Most of the blacks should go out this week according to him.

Lolz, it's not Cadillac's fault. Stockers and Assy Rims fit just fine.

theres no way in hell id go through all the hassle of cutting down my axles for some silly center caps. Id wait a few weeks for them to give you new ones.

↑↑ I was thinking the same thing. ↑↑

My set just came today (titanium finish). Can't wait to get the rubber mounted so I can get them on my Raven Black V.
