All the axle shaft cutting talk came before we knew Forgestar was going to make new centercaps. I don't think anyone is cutting anything at this point.

Cutting axles for center caps... this turn into a weight savings thread all of a sudden? Any issues with vibrations or things being out of balance by cutting some material off the end of the axles? I considered this when I installed TD wheels as the center caps just barely clear, as in they touch, on the street version wheels.

I prefer flush center caps. They look better.

I've already made a couple of cuts, and plan to finish up this weekend.

Whats up fella? I'm up in Clarksville right now. It's 4 (including mine) V's up here and I haven't seen those rims before. Get with me when you get here!

Agreed.

I don't want two different looking center caps on my rims because the makers weren't smart enough to measure.

These are some of the best looking rims on a V. For you guys that have them, they look great.

If you're waiting on photos of a color other than titanium, you'll have to wait longer. Those have yet to ship.

Mine have shipped and will be here late next week. I didn't want to say anything because I may not have time to get them mounted and balanced for a week or two. I'm afraid that, now that the cat is out of the bag, I'll arrive home to an angry mob of V owners!

I know we've already seen some pics of the Titanium finish on a Black Raven V but thought I'd share a few more. The one picture shows you how to get free gunmetal finish by letting the brake dust accumulate

The more the merrier! Best looking combo...but I'm biased!

Fuzzy...you're gonna show up to this. Except pitchforks and torches instead of signs.
