Okay, I feel bad for making people wait, so I grabbed the camera when I went to get gas tonight. The usual disclaimer applies: the car is filthy. It rained last night while the car was up on jacks and splattered crap all over the wheels and everything else.

For those of you who wanted B&W pictures to get a feel for whether or not the wheels look good with a black raven CTS-V, open the following three links: picture 1, picture 2, and picture 3.

I'll take more pictures when I finish up these upgrades and wash the car. Probably around this time next weekend. By the way, the Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 tires are un-freaking believably quiet. Thus far, I love 'em!

By the way, cutting 3 threads off the end of the axle stubs with a Sawzall is sufficient to achieve a great fit with the standard Forgestar center caps.

They are the black ones. The borders are still grey, so you have to deal with that on your own if you want to make them black. I'll probably have mine professionally painted black when I get my Extreme Composites hood painted. Oh, and btw, I contacted the manufacturer of the headlamps and they will not consider making the borders black.

Your car is super clean. I'm pretty tempted to order me up a set of the black ones when they become available and ready to ship. Also, I honestly like the headlights because of the black housing, minus the halo portion of them. Anyway to disable the halo and just run the low beam HID from them?

And can you take a picture from the side of the car showing the fitment of the wheel wells?

I personally like the halos. Didn't think I would but they look cool. I'd buy the black ones and paint the border black like I did on my stock housings.

FYI: due to the fact that I was operating without a flash, the CCFL halos are overexposed; they look brighter in the picture then they actually are. They're also not as blue as pictured.

Well went ahead and ordered a set of the black housing halo headlights today, as much as I used to be against them, after seeing the pictures of Fuzzys car and one other I decided I'll give them a try. Only 30 more than stockers and have an HID set included. My headlights might be up for sale in the near future, but the passenger lens has a crack in it and both housings are in bad shape. Plus the passenger side ballast is out so it was just one more reason for some new lights.

With the new ones in, I'll be going for this look.

I'm feeling the black housing halos in this picture but dont you lose the headlight pissers with aftermarket headlights? I could live without the headlight pissers but just curious.

I may go ahead and order them for mine as well. My stocks are perfect with the surroundings painted black which look much better than stock but those black inner housings look nice.
