Default Rear Diff vent instructions with pictures?

Hi Guys and Gals,
I am looking for a step by step instructions that explains how to install the vent extension on the rear diff. I have a 2006 cts-v that seems to leaking some fuild from the rear diff vent and I found that there is a tsb on this. I just can find any pictures of how to do this. I feel like I have been searching for a while. I must just suck at searching. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nathan

My old diff had a section of ~2 foot rubber hose zip tied to the vent. Looks like they just popped off the cover with a screwdriver and attached the hose, simple. My current diff has the factory cover, no issues leaking.

Where is the vent located on the diff? If there's a nipple on there after removing a dust cap, then you can run a coil of hose to prevent fluid puking. The coil collects the fluid. When I ran a Mustang, I had to do such a thing to keep the diff fluid from throwing up through the vent.

Just get a small filter from an auto store that has a 3/8" nipple, and attach it to the end of the hose.

Huh? I was under my car during the exhaust install & noticed dripping fluid. I wonder if my relief valve is leaking?

Can anyone confirm that the diff needs to be dropped/lowered in order to replace/fix the vent issue? noticed my diff was wet from the top with fluid but the seals looked fine.
