Default P0455 Suggestions

Hello all - I've been battling the P0455 light for a long time now to no luck. I've replaced the gas cap with a new OEM one, the EVAP solenoid under the hood as well as the solenoid in the charcoal canister above the rear diff (which is a crazy spot for it and I had to drop the diff to even get the solenoid swapped ).

After all of that, I still have the code and the message popping up on the nav to check my gas cap. Is there anything else I can try or suggestions anyone has? I'd like to avoid a smoke test at the dealer if I can as those don't seem cheap...

Thanks

I have that code turned off in the tune. No problems with emissions testing.

^^^ If everything is working just disable the code.

Probably a sensor somewhere thats feeling neglected. Turning the code of is an option of last resort, find out what the problem is first. As tempting as it is to just shut off MIL's it is not the answer to your problems if you're not sure whats causing it. If you do shut the code, make sure to kill the MIL and the reporting or the code will show when it is read.

I can make it through emissions testing too if I clear the code and drive the short distance from work to the center as it takes a longer drive for it to throw it. It's more for my peace of mind so I don't have to stare at the light the rest of the time. I'm also planning on selling the car sometime soon and I'd rather fix it than just shut the light off and sell it to somebody.

Also, I don't have a tune or the software to do it. The car just has an exhaust. Any other ideas?

Service vehicle soon is usually abs/traction control related. You'll likely need to pull codes and troubleshoot that like anything else.

Grab an ELM 321 and thew torque app for a total of 10 bucks, it helps a lot when trying to troubleshoot crazy things like this

I get the "check gas cap" message during every drive too. Replaced gas cap last August with ACDelco part. It didn't start until recently, though.
